Customer Support

Thank you for using Oracle's Ksplice zero-downtime live patching service (originally offered by Ksplice Inc.) to keep your Linux systems secure and up to date for more than 10 years.

Over that time Oracle Ksplice as been fully integrated with Oracle Linux Premier Support and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure subscriptions, which is how almost all of our Linux customers now purchase the Ksplice service, providing zero-downtime patching for supported Linux kernels in Oracle Linux, CentOS Linux, and Ubuntu. Because of this change in the market and pursuant to the Ksplice Uptrack Subscription Agreement, this standalone Ksplice service will no longer be offered after January 31, 2023.

Ksplice legacy customers are encouraged to switch to Oracle Linux Premier Support or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure subscriptions to continue leveraging Ksplice zero-downtime live patching, not only for the Linux kernel, but also for our hypervisors and for critical Linux userspace libraries. An additional benefit of Ksplice is the ability to alert administrators when an alarm is detected via Ksplice Known Exploit Detection.

If you have any questions about Oracle Ksplice, please contact your Oracle sales team for more information about obtaining Oracle Linux Premier Support or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure subscriptions to use Oracle Support for customer support.

Oracle Linux customers who have Oracle Linux Premier Support should use Oracle Support for customer support.
