Once you click the button, a dialog box will appear:

Make sure “Open with Ubuntu Software Center” is
selected**, as above,
and click “OK”. Ubuntu Software Center will bring up
the ksplice-uptrack package information. Click “Install”, and the
installation will begin. You will be prompted for your password:
**Users running Oneiric or
newer, you may not have a default Application to open the .deb.
Instead, save it and double-click on the entry that appears in your Downloads
window. That will launch Ubuntu Software Center.

Enter your password and click “OK”. You will next be prompted to agree to the terms of service:

Check the box and click “Forward”. The installation process will continue. When Ksplice Uptrack is fully installed, the Ksplice Uptrack Manager will appear:

Ksplice Uptrack is now installed on your system and ready to apply the latest fixes to Linux, all without rebooting. Click “Install all updates” to bring your kernel up to date:
